I schedule 2-4 months out.  I will only schedule 4-8 sessions Saturdays and Sundays and 1 or 2 each weekday.  I want to be able to give each and every customer my fullest attention and the best service I can provide.  I am only one person running the full ins and outs of my business.

*       I do outdoor or in-home only.  Currently I do not have a studio.  With in-home sessions if you smoke inside your home, please refrain from smoking while I am there due to having my props and backgrounds there.  I am very cautious with allergens because I go to other people's home directly from another home.  Sometimes I do 3-5 sessions a day in-home and I am not able to go home and launder my backdrops.  I appreciate everyone's compliance with this request.

       When editing your pictures I will give you all edited images on CD.  Usually I will give you anywhere from 25-30 images unless the session attendees were not cooperative, in which case I will probably reschedule additional time if necessary.  Payment is still required at the first session, and additional time is allotted at my discretion and if I have available time.  Please understand that I do edit all of your pictures, and this takes time as well, so I give you a general 2-3 week wait time to get your CD back.  So please schedule accordingly meaning if you need your pics back by October 1st you should schedule at least 2-4 weeks beforehand.  

Sessions that have been won must be used within 30-45 days of winning.  I cannot allow clients to continue rescheduling their sessions when they see fit.  It messes up my work schedule and doesn't allow others who are paying clients to get their sessions done.  All special offer sessions or free sessions are outdoor sessions unless stated otherwise and may be extended per the photographer's discretion.  It is also at my discretion how many of these sessions I take a week.  I have to make money in between already paid sessions and free sessions.

      Every session comes with the CD and permission to print, and you can purchase prints or print packages from me as well.

When scheduling a wedding, $100 deposit is due at the time of your free engagement shoot, and the balance is due before the wedding ceremony starts.

       Payment for sessions is due at the time of the session by check or cash or can be paid earlier by paypal.  The only exceptions are if the session was part of an auction or special already paid for.  If you purchase a discounted session, you may still have to pay a travel fee if the distance is in the travel fee range.  Discounted sessions are non-refundable, but they do not have a time limit either.  Many of the discounted session offers I do are for charity.  It is your responsibility to schedule your session with me.  I cannot always guarantee session availability if you do not get with me soon enough.

        Inclement weather is not the photographer's fault, and I cannot be held accountable for the session needing to be rescheduled.  I will however try to figure out another time that will work for all.  As to events needing to be rescheduled, they may be cancelled altogether if there is no available time.  I will work first to try to obtain a better day for the events before I absolutely cancel the event.

      There is also a travel charge for any sessions outside of a 20 mile radius from my home of 32 cents per mile.  On any free sessions I will stipulate how many can be in the session, and if you want to add additional subjects there be a $5 per subject fee along with an upgrade fee if you want additional time.

      Lately I have been getting a lot of requests to reschedule which is completely understandable especially with this weather.  I am doing my best to accommodate as much as I can.  Unfortunately I thought Mother Nature and I had an understanding, but she has reneged on our deal.  

However please note my times I do my sessions.  I am unavailable most weekdays due to editing and spending time with my son (who has not gotten enough of my attention lately).  I do sessions after 4:30 during the week and allot up to 2 hours for indoor sessions for travel, set-up, and the actual session itself which means only 1 session during the week most days.  During the weekend I may schedule every hour if outdoors and in the same location, but I cannot jump from outdoors to indoors to outdoors.  I will only be scheduling up to 7 each weekend day.  This is to alleviate some of the editing strain so I can keep each of your editing times to under 2 weeks. 

       If you are scheduled for an outdoor session please wear warm clothes or have a jacket or blanket on hand for in between shots.

     For additional CDs, there is only a $10 cost for each.  If your CD has been lost, stolen, or damaged you can also purchase a CD at that price.

I hope that everyone understands that I can only do so many sessions without it becoming too much for one person to handle.  I'm sure you all understand what it's like to juggle your family life with your job, and it sometimes is not very fun.
